Slaney Street, Wexford

A photograph of Slaney Street in Wexford Town. On the right, you can see the Joleen Codd Photograph premises. This street runs up past Dunnes Stores in the direction of Westgate. Further down, you can make out the monument in Redmond Square. This photo was taken in October of 2014. Slaney street was named after the River Slaney. Up until a major land reclamation project in the 1800s, most of this area was under water!
