Stonebridge
A photograph of the Paul Quay / Stonebridge area of Wexford town, as seen from Ferrybank. In the distance, you can make out the Talbot Hotel, Seascape Apartments, Pierce Court, TK Maxx and the large Stonebridge development, which was recently purchased by Talbot Hotel (Talbot Suites at Stonebridge). This was taken on a cold Saturday morning in April of 2016.

St. Mary's of Maudlintown, Wexford
A photograph of the St. Mary's of Maudlintown club house and football pitch in Wexford town. St. Mary's of Maudlintown is a GAA club that is situated in the Trespan Rocks area of Wexford. The official opening ceremony for the new club house took place on Saturday, the 24th of January, 2016. Photo date: Feb 2016.

The Cot Safe, Wexford
A photograph of the Cot Safe in Maudlintown, Wexford. The name comes from a type of boat called the "cot", which is popular amongst those who like to sail the rivers of southeast Ireland. This was snapped on Sunday, the 5th of April, 2015.

Forth Mountain, Wexford
A photograph of the Forth Mountain area of Wexford. This was taken in February of 2015, from the patch of grass beside the five Pikemen statue in Barntown. In the distance, you can see the tip of the mountain, as well as the rocks that surround Carrigfoyle quarry.

Edenvale
Photographs of Edenvale, which is a forest that is close to Castlebridge in County Wexford. The area is popular amongst walkers and joggers as it has a walking trail that loops around the River Sow and a spectacular waterfall.

Carrigfoyle quarry in Barntown, Wexford
Photographs of the abandoned Carrigfoyle quarry, which is situated in Barntown, County Wexford - in the area of Forth Mountain.

Fog over Wexford

A photograph of heavy fog over Wexford. As you can see, it had completely filled the harbour and engulfed Wexford Bridge. Strangely-enough, this wave of fog quickly descended over the town (it was a fine and sunny day) before it disappeared again. All-in-all, it only lasted for about 20-30 minutes.

Johnstown Castle, Wexford
A photograph of Johnstown Castle, which is in the Rathaspeck area of Wexford. This iconic structure was built back in the 19th century. As you can see, it is surrounded by beautiful gardens, stone statues and lakes. This shot was taken back in the early stages of Autumn in 2014.

Marram grass on Curracloe Beach

New Ross Bridge
A photograph of New Ross bridge. This bridge is apart of the important N25 road that connects Cork and Waterford with Rosslare Harbour and Wexford Town. The area behind it is known as "Waterside". This was taken in February of 2015.

River Barrow
A photograph of the River Barrow, which begins in the Slieve Bloom Mountains in County Laois. After flowing through Athy and New Ross, the river flows into Waterford Harbour.

Browne-Clayton Monument
The Browne-Clayton Monument in County Wexford was built in memory of Sir Ralph Abercrombie, who was a Scottish soldier and politician. Abercrombie also served as the Commander-in-Chief of British forces in Ireland.
The monument, which is modelled after Pompey's Pillar in Egypt, is roughly 28 metres in height and it is situated on Carrigadaggan Hill, across the road from Carrigbyrne Hill on the N25 road between New Ross and Wexford Town.
It is worth noting that this is the only existing Corinthian pillar that can be accessed from the inside.
In the mid-1990s, the monument was struck by lightning, leaving it in need of structural repairs.

Carrigbyrne Hill in Wexford offers a wonderful scenic view, as well as a Slí na Sláinte walking route. The area also contains a number of megalithic standing stones.
The hill is located on the N25 between Wexford Town and New Ross. This shot was taken on the long stretch of road after Ballinaboola.

New Ross Marina
Photographs of the marina in New Ross, County Wexford. The Three Sisters Marina is situated on the River Barrow, on the Wexford side of the New Ross bridge.

The area is also home to various duck species and swans.

The entrance is within walking distance of the Dunbrody Ship and its visitor centre.
