The Crescent View Restaurant, Wexford

A photograph of The Crescent View Restaurant on Crescent Quay in Wexford town. In the past, the premises housed a popular newsagents. To the right of the restaurant, you can see the John Barry statue. This was taken in January of 2015. The restaurant was closed in October of 2015, after it was served with its second closure order within the space of four months.

A Google Street View image of La Bodega, which was a Spanish tapas bar on Wexford's Anne Street. This image was captured by the Google Street View car in June of 2009. More recently, the premises was occupied by a Chinese takeaway restaurant called Ping Kee.

A Google Street View image of La Scala, which was an Italian restaurant that was situated in Cornmarket, Wexford. The restaurant closed during the downturn when its owner fell into serious financial difficulties.

Later, after La Scala had closed, the premises became home to Opera Steakhouse. This image was captured in June of 2009.

A photograph of the Horse and Hound Inn Hotel, which is a hotel / restaurant in County Wexford. The Horse and Hound is situated in Ballinaboola, which is on the road between New Ross and Wexford Town. This is a popular place for lunch and dinner.

Joanne's Cafe, Wexford

A photograph of Joanne's Cafe in Wexford Town, which is one of the most popular spots for lunch. Unfortunately, this picture was taken a few hours after a huge parade, which would explain the unusual amount of litter on the street.

The Castle Bar, Enniscorthy

A photograph of The Castle Bar in Enniscorthy, County Wexford. This was taken on Friday, the 6th of February, 2015.

The Castle Bar is situated on Enniscorthy's Castle Hill, next to the Wexford County Childcare outlet (pretty sure that it is named after Enniscorthy Castle, which is just a few metres up the road). Judging from an old Google Maps streetview picture, this used to be an entrance to the Myles Kehoe bar and off licence.

A photograph of The Star restaurant & bakery, which is a popular cafe that is situated on Wexford Town's South Main Street. This is a great place to visit if you're looking for pastries, pies, tea, coffee or a breakfast roll! As the decorations suggest, this photo was snapped during the Christmas period of 2014.

Update: Sadly, The Star will close its doors for the last time on Easter Saturday, 2015 (04/04/2015). The owner has decided to retire after decades of being in business on the main street.

Update: The store is now home to an Italian Trattoria called Bacco.

A photograph of the Nonna Rosa premises on Wexford's South Main Street. Nonna Rosa is an Italian Restaurant / Cafe that serves gourmet Italian cuisine. This is one of the most popular restaurants in the town.

Update October 2015: It seems as though Nonna Rosa has been replaced by a tapas bar called Donna Marina.

A photograph of Burger Mac, which is a fast food restaurant that is located on Wexford Town's Selskar Street. This was taken at night on the 26th December, 2014 (hence the Christmas decorations). Burger Mac sells a number of different foods, such as chicken burgers, taco chips, etc.
