A photograph of the historic Cornmarket area of Wexford Town. The area got its name from a corn market that used to be held here. In times of old, farmers from the countryside would travel into Wexford and sell their corn here.
Currently home to businesses such as Permanent TSB, Wrights Insurances, Paula's Barbers and Thomas Moore Tavern (oh, and the Art Centre, of course, which is the old building on the left). This photograph was snapped on Tuesday, the 23rd of September, 2014.
